South Africa arrive for Pakistan tour after 14 years
In 14 years this is the first international tour of the South Africa team in Pakistan in Karachi on Saturday to play two tests and twenty 20. The team approaches the Pakistani from the airport with high security to the cricket board with wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock. COVID-19 tests had already been done on the team squad before their departure and further tests will be done after their arrival. Before the training session, the team member will be isolated in their hotels until the first test round.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the training session will start at the end of Quarantine in Karachi national stadium. On January 26 both teams will play their first round of the match. On February 4 the second test will take place in Rawalpindi while all three twenty20 will host in Lahore on February 11, 13 and14. Mark Boucher, South Africa team coach, said the security system of Pakistan is good.

Boucher told the reporters before departure on Friday that we have sent our security guys to Pakistan to check security in Pakistan and they said it’s good. In 2007 the last tour of South Africa in Pakistan Boucher said, ‘there is no issue from my side so we should get back and play together again’. In march 2007 international was banned in Pakistan due to a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore. The Sri Lankan team visited Pakistan and Pakistan before being revived in late 2019 again hosted teams for the matches in the country
