Is Shawn Mendes, the perfect human, ever going to date me? However, this implies that we have to embark on an emotionally exhausting and enticing journey through his personal history. Simply for the sake of it.
Your name does not appear on this list (yet). However, there is a reason for optimism. The good news is that everything else is moving along just well, starting with Shawn’s infatuation to full-fledged partnership and now-ex Camila Cabello.
Shawn Mendes Girlfriend Camila Cabello
In June of this year, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello released their single “Senorita,” which was, to put it mildly, really hot. Everyone became thirsty to the point of being parched when the song was released because of how hot it was, and they fueled their hunger by presuming Shawn and Camila were dating. I mean, how could you possibly blame them?
Until Shawn and Camila truly started dating and went from 0 to 100 in public declarations of their love, everyone was saying “This is just acting.” It’s funny because…have you seen those pool make-out pics??? Shawn and Camila initially wanted to keep their relationship private, but they ultimately decided to “love each other out loud” and “fall like nobody’s watching.”
Exhibit B: Shawn and Camila “fish kissing” prank, in which they suck up to each other “like fish.”
There were no more rainbows and sunshine in Shamila Land after more than two years of dating when they posted a separation announcement on Instagram.
Although our romantic relationship has ended, our love for one another as people is stronger than ever,” the exes wrote in their message. There is no doubt in my mind that our relationship began and will continue as a friendship. Since the beginning, we’ve been grateful for your support, and we will continue to do so.”
They’re making good on their promise to stay best friends by liking each other’s Instagram photos and even going for a walk with their dog Tarzan. Obviously, this little outing generated suspicions that they were reuniting, but only time will tell!
Shawn Mendes & Hailey Baldwin
Until now, Shawn and Hailey have kept a low profile when it came to rumors of their relationship, but the truth is, they were together. Sadly, Shawn was a bystander in Hailey’s Justin Bieber relationship, as she married the Biebs just months after they parted up. It all started with a thirsty tweet from Hailey asking Shawn to date her in 2013, and their “relationship” has been going strong ever since. As it turns out, some people really benefit from this approach! (It’s not me.)

When we fast-forward to 2017, they’ve already begun to flirt on Twitter. “Flirting,” on the other hand, is a bit of an exaggeration, given they’re both tweeting about the same thing at the same time. Wow, Shakespeare, you’ve been outdone!
— Shawn Mendes (@ShawnMendes) October 22, 2017
At Kylie Jenner’s Halloween party in November, the two were caught getting cozy, then in December, TMZ revealed photos of them embracing in Toronto, which some people (read: no one) claim is the Paris of Canada:
Shawn and Hailey spent the better part of a year pretending they were in a relationship before deciding to attend the 2018 Met Gala as if nothing had ever happened.
Then Justin Bieber and Hailey were spotted making out all over the world (nowhere was safe) despite their constant denials of their relationship. What happened afterward is, as they say, in the past.
Shawn Mendes Girlfriend Chloë Grace Moretz
To be fair, there was some speculation that Shawn and Chlo were dating back in 2016, but don’t get your hopes up just yet.
— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) October 12, 2016
There is a good likelihood that Chloe and Brooklyn Beckham were only flirting on social media at the moment.
Shawn Mendes Girlfriend Andrea Russet
Shawn wanted to be a couple again, despite the fact that they weren’t. In 2013, he sent her the following message via Twitter:
@AndreaRussett would you be my girlfriend? 😍
— Shawn Mendes (@ShawnMendes) March 27, 2013
Then, six years later, she was all:
ok fine! 😘 https://t.co/DOP1lI7iu7
